History & atmosphere
Altai Palace opened on 1 November 2014 and became the first — and to this day the flagship — casino of the Sibirskaya Moneta gambling zone in Altai Krai. It is the most remote and untamed of Russia's legal casinos: instead of a metropolis, it is surrounded by the Altai foothills, taiga and pristine rivers, drawing visitors for ecotourism and healthy recreation. At launch the complex had 15 tables, 20 slot machines and three VIP rooms, but it grew over time, adding a hotel, restaurants and spacious poker areas. Altai Palace became known as Siberia's poker capital: players from all over the country gather here for regular tournaments, and the casino's revenue has risen steadily year after year. The atmosphere is distinctive — calm, almost resort-like, without the Vegas bustle. Guests combine gambling with hikes through mountainous Altai, spa treatments and national cuisine. For the region, the casino has become a driver of tourism growth in one of the most beautiful corners of Siberia.
