Wynn Al Marjan Island — casino in Ras Al Khaimah (Al Marjan Island)

Wynn Al Marjan Island is an ambitious mega-resort worth around 5.1 billion dollars, being built on the reclaimed Al Marjan Island in the emirate of Ras Al Khaimah, which will become the first legal casino not only in the UAE but across the entire Middle East. The opening is scheduled for spring 2027. The project by Wynn Resorts calls for a 70-storey tower with more than 1,500 rooms and suites, a main gaming floor of about 20,900 square metres and a separate sky casino on the 22nd floor overlooking the Persian Gulf. It will be Wynn's first beach resort in the world and the first in the region where gambling is brought out of the shadows into a strictly regulated framework under a licence from a new UAE authority. Beyond gaming, guests can expect Wynn's signature luxury: fine-dining restaurants, a spa, conference spaces and theatrical shows. The resort is conceived as a symbol of a new era of tourism in the Emirates.
