There is no separate licensing procedure for online casinos: the AJ has issued no such permit and treats internet gambling sites as illegal, pursuing blocks on sites and advertising. The currency is the boliviano, with payments mostly through local banks and cards. A reform introducing licences for online operators is under discussion but is not complete, and no legal online market currently exists.
