Rating methodology
The score on this site is not an expert opinion dressed up as a number — it is the output of a formula. Every weight, the formula itself and a worked example are published below. If our arithmetic does not add up, you can see it from this page and tell us.
Five criteria and their weights
Trust carries the most weight deliberately: the cost of being wrong about a licence or a payout is nothing like the cost of being wrong about a bonus size.

The formula
Trust × 0.35 + Payout speed × 0.25 + Games × 0.15 + Bonuses × 0.15 + Support × 0.1
The result is rounded to one decimal — exactly the precision we display. If any sub-score is missing, no overall score is shown: averaging incomplete data would pass a gap off as a fact.

What the score does not mean
- It does not predict whether you will win. The mathematical edge always sits with the casino, and no methodology changes that.
- Sub-scores are set by our editors from licence registers, operator terms and public sources. They are shown in every review, and the sources are listed at the bottom of the review page.
- Payout speed currently comes from the operator’s own terms, not from our own measurements. While that is the case, the criterion reflects a promise rather than a fact, and we say so plainly.
- Scores change when the underlying data changes: a new licence, amended terms, a payment method added or dropped.
Where the money comes from
- The site earns from affiliate links: an operator may pay a commission for a referral that signs up.
- Whether an affiliate link exists is not part of the formula — as the weights table shows, it simply is not in there.
- Catalogue order is set by the score, not by commission size. Positions in our top lists are not for sale.
- Outbound links are marked as sponsored and closed to indexing.

First published version. Before it, the overall score was stored as a separate number and did not match the weighted sum of the sub-scores for every casino. It is now computed by the formula on this page, without exception.
