Editorial policy

A casino review site earns money from the very companies it rates. Hiding that is pointless — it is more useful to describe how the work is done and what exactly keeps the score away from the money.

Who writes this

Everything here is produced by the Casino Atlas editorial team and signed with the project, not with personal names. We do not invent author biographies, job titles or stock-photo portraits — bylines like that are common in this niche and mean nothing. The project as a whole answers for every text, and there is a single address for complaints about any of them.

What a review is based on

  • The operator’s own site and paperwork: terms of service, bonus rules, withdrawal conditions and limits.
  • Licence data: the jurisdiction, the name of the licence and its number where the operator discloses it.
  • Independent review platforms — among them Casino Guru, AskGamblers, Trustpilot, Wizard of Odds and LCB. We do not rewrite their verdicts; we print them as they are at the top of each casino page, next to our own.
  • Game specifications from the studios: RTP, volatility, mechanics, reels and paylines.
  • Direct observation of the site itself: the game and provider line-up, payment methods, the withdrawal times actually stated.

Each of the 110 reviews in the catalogue rests on a list of checked sources that the editorial team keeps alongside the casino profile.

How the score is set

The score is built from five criteria: trust, payout speed, games, bonuses and support. The scale is the same for every casino — those we have an affiliate agreement with and those we do not. The formula and the weights live on their own page so that any reader can recompute the result.

Rating methodology

Where the money comes from

The project is funded by affiliate links. When a reader follows such a link to an operator and starts playing, the operator may pay us a commission — calculated from its own revenue, not from the score we gave it. Those links carry the sponsored attribute, run through the /go service redirect that is closed to search engines, and open in a new tab. The same disclosure sits in the footer of every page.

Conflict of interest: what protects the score

  1. 1A casino is scored regardless of whether we hold an affiliate agreement with it, and on what terms.
  2. 2Commission size is not part of the formula and does not shape the catalogue: by default the list is sorted by score and nothing else.
  3. 3Ranking positions and slots in our collections are not for sale. There is no paid “partner placement” row hidden in the lists.
  4. 4Downsides are not removed on request. We will correct a factual error if it is shown to us, but we will not delete a drawback that is true.
  5. 5A casino we have no agreement with stays in the catalogue with a complete review. Without an affiliate link the button leads to the operator’s official site, or we state plainly that there is no link — we never quietly swap in a different casino.
  6. 6When an agreement with an operator ends, the review is not deleted and the score is not retroactively adjusted.

What you will not find here

  • Promises of winnings, “no-loss systems” or strategies that supposedly beat the maths of the game.
  • Encouragement to chase losses, or gambling presented as a source of income.
  • Anything addressed to readers under 18.
  • Links to gambling sites or promo codes in regions where the site runs in informational mode.

Corrections

Casino data moves: limits are revised, payment methods disappear, licences are re-issued. If a fact on a page is wrong, write to us with the page address and what exactly is off. We check the report against the sources, fix the page, and if the correction touches one of the five criteria we revisit the score as well.

Scope

The content of this site is reference material, not legal or financial advice. An operator’s terms can change at any moment: the final authority is the casino’s own rules and its licence. Gambling is not a way to earn money, and the content is intended for readers over 18.
