Terms of use

By opening this site you accept the rules below. They are short and written in plain language, because only one thing really matters here: we are a publication, not a casino. We write about gambling sites; we do not run games and we take no money from you.

The short version

  • This is an editorial site. It takes no bets, opens no accounts and pays out no winnings.
  • The content is for readers aged 18 and over — or older, where your local gambling age is higher.
  • Checking whether gambling is legal where you live is your responsibility, not ours.
  • Bonuses and operator terms change constantly; the binding rules are always the ones on the operator’s own site.
  • The buttons that lead to operators are affiliate links: we may be paid a commission for them.

What we are and what we are not

Casino Atlas is an independent publication about the gambling industry: site reviews, country rankings, a reference library of slots and providers, and a guide to land-based venues.

We are not a gambling operator. We do not organise or run games or betting, accept stakes, open gaming accounts, take deposits or pay out winnings. We hold no gambling licence and need none, because nothing is played here.

Whatever happens between you and a gambling site happens without us. We are not a party to that relationship, not an intermediary, and not an arbitrator in disputes with an operator.

Age

This site is for adults. The minimum age is 18, and where your country sets a higher gambling age, that higher age applies. If you are younger, close the page.

We do not check documents and could not do so if we wanted to. The age confirmation on the site is a statement of your responsibility, not a verification.

Legality is your responsibility

Gambling law differs between countries and often between regions of the same country. Online play is licensed in some places, restricted in others and banned outright elsewhere. The presence of a review on this site does not mean the site described is lawful where you are.

Before you play, satisfy yourself that it is permitted where you live and where you are staying. We give no legal advice and take no responsibility for the consequences of your breaking local law.

For Russia and Belarus the site runs in information mode: no outbound links to gambling sites are shown, redirects are blocked on the server, and game demos do not run. Organising and advertising online gambling is prohibited in the Russian Federation.

Affiliate links and how we make money

Some of the buttons leading to operators are affiliate links: if you follow one and register with the operator, we may receive a commission. Every such link carries the sponsored attribute and is kept out of search indexes.

It changes nothing for you: the operator’s terms are the same as if you had gone there directly, and no surcharge appears anywhere.

A commission does not turn a review into an advertisement — we write the drawbacks of a site as plainly as its strengths. But you are entitled to know where the money comes from, so it is stated openly.

Accuracy of content and bonus terms

We work to describe sites accurately and to keep the data current, but this market moves fast. Bonus sizes, wagering requirements, limits, accepted countries, payment methods and withdrawal rules are changed by operators unilaterally and without notice — sometimes on the same day a review is published.

So: everything here is for reference. It is not an offer, a guarantee or a promise. The only legally meaningful terms are those published on the operator’s own site at the moment you register. Read them before you deposit, not after.

We do not warrant that the site runs without interruption or error, that every calculation and ranking is free of inaccuracy, or that a site we wrote about will keep operating.

Accounts

No account is needed to read the site. An account gives you two things: the ability to post reviews and a shortlist of casinos.

Use a working e-mail address — that is where we reply to requests about your data. Keep your password to yourself: anything done under your sign-in counts as done by you. One person, one account; accounts are not for sale or transfer.

We may suspend or delete an account used for spam, rating manipulation, attacks on the site, or evasion of the rules below.

Reader reviews

Reviews are written by visitors, not by the editorial team. They are somebody else’s opinion and we do not vouch for their accuracy. One rating per casino per account: a new one overwrites the old. Text is capped at 2000 characters.

  • Write about your own experience. Retelling other people’s stories or inventing them is not a review.
  • No insults, threats, incitement to hatred or obscenity.
  • No advertising, referral links, promo codes or invitations to channels and messengers.
  • No personal data — yours or anyone else’s: account numbers, ID documents, phone numbers, addresses, screenshots of correspondence with names.
  • No manipulation: bulk ratings with identical text, paid reviews and attempts to sink a competitor are removed together with the account.
  • Nothing unlawful, and no encouragement of anything unlawful.

What we do with reviews

By posting a review you allow us to display it on the site indefinitely and free of charge, including in shortened form and in round-ups, next to the display name you chose. The rights to your text stay with you.

We may remove or decline to publish a review that breaks the rules above, without stating a reason. We are not obliged to pre-moderate every review, but we do act on reports — write to the address at the foot of this page.

You can edit or delete your own review yourself, at any time, straight from the casino page.

Rights in the content

Review texts, ratings, round-ups, design and site structure belong to the editorial team. Copying them wholesale or in substantial part for publication elsewhere is not permitted. A short quotation with a working link to the source page is welcome.

Names, logos and trade marks of casinos, providers and games belong to their owners. They are used here to identify the subject of a review; that implies no partnership, endorsement or sponsorship on their part unless expressly stated.

Links to third-party sites

We link to operators, game providers, regulators and help organisations. We do not run those sites and are not responsible for their content, availability, security or handling of your data. Following an external link is your own decision.

Game demos are loaded from providers’ servers. A demo is free play with virtual credits: nothing can be won in it, and it is not an offer to play for real money.

Liability

The site is provided as it is. We are liable for intent and gross negligence, and not for your losses, for decisions you took on the basis of our material, for what operators do, or for outages in third-party services.

These terms do not exclude liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, and do not affect the mandatory consumer rights you have where you live.

Changes to these terms

The rules may change along with the site. The version published here at the time of your visit is the one that applies; the date is shown at the top and bottom of the page. If a change does not suit you, stop using the site.
