Igrosoft is a legendary Russian developer, founded in 1999 in Moscow, that did much to define the look of the gaming halls of the 2000s across the entire post-Soviet region. This is the studio behind Crazy Monkey (the "Monkeys"), Fruit Cocktail (the "Strawberries"), Resident (the "Safes"), Garage and Keks — machines that became a genuine cultural phenomenon and still draw huge audiences in online casinos today. The Igrosoft signature is simple five-reel, nine-line mechanics, hand-drawn cartoon graphics and, above all, interactive bonus rounds: in Crazy Monkey you knock down coconuts, in Resident you guess the safes, while a classic double-or-nothing gamble on card colour or suit rounds off almost every win. The company's catalogue is small — around two and a half dozen slots — yet almost every one became a hit, and the originals have been faithfully ported to HTML5 for mobile devices. Igrosoft holds no major international licences, distributing its games through partner platforms and aggregators, but the nostalgic appeal and instant recognisability of its machines remain unmatched in their corner of the Russian-language market.
