Ontario is the only Canadian market with a fully regulated online segment, and two names share the job: the AGCO registers the operator, while iGaming Ontario signs the operating agreement. The public directory of approved brands is kept by iGO β that is where you check whether a site is legal in the province. The bar is the one strict jurisdictions set: owner vetting, financial reporting, mandatory player-protection mechanisms. The limit is obvious and hard: the registration covers players in Ontario only, outside the province it gives neither protection nor a body to complain to, and a European player is formally not its addressee at all.
Check the licence yourself
This regulator keeps an open public register. Look up the licence number from the casino footer, then confirm that the legal entity in the register matches the one named in the terms of service and that the status is active. The regulator logo proves nothing: an image is easy to copy.
